CURLOPT_PUT is one of the accepted parameters for curl_setopt parameter #2.
CURLOPT_PUT — true to HTTP PUT a file. The file to PUT must
be set with CURLOPT_READDATA and
CURLOPT_INFILESIZE.
Available as of cURL 7.1.0 and deprecated as of cURL 7.12.1.
