CURLOPT_PROGRESSFUNCTION is one of the accepted parameters for curl_setopt parameter #2.

CURLOPT_PROGRESSFUNCTION — A callable with the following signature:

 The callback should return an `int` with a non-zero value to abort the transfer
 and set a [`CURLE_ABORTED_BY_CALLBACK`](/codex/CURLE_ABORTED_BY_CALLBACK) error.

 Available as of cURL 7.1.0 and deprecated as of cURL 7.32.0.
 Use [`CURLOPT_XFERINFOFUNCTION`](/codex/CURLOPT_XFERINFOFUNCTION) instead.
