CURLOPT_MAXCONNECTS is one of the accepted parameters for curl_setopt parameter #2.
CURLOPT_MAXCONNECTS — The maximum amount of persistent connections that are allowed.
When the limit is reached, the oldest one in the cache is closed
to prevent increasing the number of open connections.
