CURLOPT_CONNECT_ONLY

CURLOPT_CONNECT_ONLY is one of the accepted parameters for curl_setopt parameter #2.
CURLOPT_CONNECT_ONLY — true tells the library to perform all the required proxy authentication
and connection setup, but no data transfer. This option is implemented for
HTTP, SMTP and POP3.
Defaults to false.
Available as of cURL 7.15.2.
